I can’t even begin to explain how much I love Diwali – ‘the festival of lights’. Hence, I chose to do this special series on this festival just to mark my fondness for it. Let me start this blog by pledging that from now on I will treat each day of my life as Diwali, keeping the light of positivity in me lit always and the world of those around me and away always illuminated with happiness, joy and prosperity.
Isn’t there this beautiful whiff of freshness in the air, around this time? Everything around is so glittering and bright and full of colour, light and celebration’; lots of sweets, shopping, traditional finery, jewellery, flowers, lights, puja and what not.Â
This festival will always have the fondest memories for me. I love, love, love the evening Lakshmi puja at home. I think that is the whole essence of the day. We all sit together, decked up in our traditional best, house decorated with the most beautiful flowers and lights, the aroma of candles and the calming scent of incense in the air and we sit down to offer our gratitude. That whole feeling of love and brotherhood is the real jibe of this festival and we should all stick to maintaining it all through the year so that we can celebrate that love even more on this day the next year.
Every time that you feel gloomy, depressed or sick with life, just glance through these lit-up images that I specially created for you, and spark up that inner positivity and that invincible passion to succeed that lies within you.Â
Â
Stay happy, prosperous and lit, till I meet you next.
HAPPY DIWALI FAMÂ
